FAQ

Frequently asked questions

The platform

What does the platform do?

It brings UAE car listings from supported sources into one search, compares each car with relevant European market listings, estimates the landed cost and potential margin for your destination country, and lets you save cars, set watchers, book inspections, request sourcing and follow orders.

Who is it for?

European car dealers, used-car traders, importers and professional buyers who evaluate several vehicles and want a repeatable way to judge UAE opportunities. It also works for experienced individual buyers, but it is designed around professional workflows.

How do the market comparisons work?

For a selected car, the platform looks for listings of the same model in your destination market and takes year, mileage and, where data allows, trim, condition and specification into account. Comparable prices are asking prices, not guaranteed sale prices, and the platform flags weak or thin comparisons.

How much does it cost?

The subscription is €97 per month. VAT is added at checkout where applicable. Pre-purchase inspections and managed sourcing are optional services priced separately.

How does vehicle sourcing work?

From any car you can request a purchase quote. If you need a specific car that you cannot find, you can submit a sourcing request and our team searches listed and, where available, off-market options. We do not guarantee that a particular car can be found.

Which costs affect importing a car from the UAE?

Typically the purchase price, UAE export and handling, shipping and insurance, EU customs duty, import VAT, port and clearance fees, homologation or modifications, inspection, registration charges and preparation. Some countries add registration taxes, such as Spain’s registration tax based on CO₂ emissions.

Is the price difference my profit?

No. The price difference only compares a European asking price with the UAE asking price. Your potential margin is the estimated resale value minus the full landed cost and other expenses, and even that remains an estimate until the car is sold.

Sources, currencies and markets

Which UAE marketplaces are included?

The platform searches the listing sources configured today, which include dubizzle, DubiCars, OpenSooq, YallaMotor and Facebook Marketplace listings. Coverage depends on each source and is not every UAE listing.

Which currencies can I use?

AED, EUR, USD, GBP, SAR, CHF and PLN. The original listing price and currency are always kept alongside the converted amount.

Which destination countries are supported?

Cost estimates are set up for Germany, Italy and Spain, with editable lines for other EU countries.

Are GCC-spec cars a problem?

Not necessarily, but GCC-spec cars can need lighting, emissions or other changes to be approved in Europe. Budget for approval and modification costs, and ask your inspection body before you buy.

Can I buy a car for myself?

Yes, but the platform is designed for professionals evaluating several cars. If you buy one car, the free import cost calculator and our country guides may be enough.
